New Daily Persistent Headache

New daily persistent headache is a relatively new headache disorder described by neurologists and headache specialists. It occurs when someone develops a headache at one time and which never quit goes away. The headache can present in many ways, with multiple types of pain, ranging from mild to severe and constant.

Often this condition is misdiagnosed, and people do not get the proper treatment they need to treat their condition.

New daily persistent headache may also occur when people have other types of headaches include migraine, tension headache and other types of headaches.

It is important to treat this condition as soon as possible, since the longer that people wait, the harder it is to treat. Patients may often need multiple therapies including oral therapies, lifestyle changes, and other changes to combat this disabling disease.
